These classes suit all ages and fitness levels and aim to optimise your posture, core stability and fitness through a graded programme designed by a chartered physiotherapist. They are very beneficial in the reduction of aches and pains, especially back pain, and can improve flexibility, mobility, balance and co-ordination.
If you are new to Pilates a beginners class will guide you through learning the principles of Pilates and the basic exercises on your own body. Improvers/Intermediate classes are for those who have completed at least one Live Well beginner’s course, and progressive classes are faster-paced classes for those who have attended regularly for upwards of 6 months, feel confident with the exercises and know the limits of their own bodies.
These classes are delivered weekly over an eight week period to ensure optimal fitness gain.
